Our mission is to support the revitalisation of te reo Māori through an easy to use, effective, and quality product.

Our word-lists have been compiled through in-depth research and cross-referencing of words from a wide-range of Māori dictionaries (every single one we could get our hands on), books, and archives. We have also been fortunate to be advised by experts in te reo Māori and have our labels checked by a nationally recognised translator.

Our labels are made from an ultra-removable and reusable material that can stick to almost any surface. The labels are safe to use on most surfaces (i.e. furniture and walls), but it's probably best to keep them away from your Nan's antiques. When removing the labels, please peel away from the surface slowly. The labels can be reused many times, as they retain their stickiness. If you plan to reuse them, don't stick them to fabric and keep the adhesive clean when not in use (keep and use the original backing paper).

Tohupiri labels, our packaging, and our branding materials have all been sourced locally. We are proud to support local businesses. We have also made an effort to reduce waste in our processes and packaging. We will continue to look for ways to do better for our environment.

Then click 'check out' to fill out your credit card details securely to pay for your chosen items. We use New Zealand Dollars for currency. Please make sure that you enter your e-mail address correctly as we will use this to acknowledge your order.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email (automatically sent to the email address you have submitted). We are a small whānau business and pack every order ourselves. For this reason, it may take up to 3 working days to process your order (although we strive to process all orders received each day). We ship 2-3 times per week with Courier Post. If you're in Aotearoa/New Zealand, please allow up to 7 working days for your order to be delivered before contacting us. When placing a pre-order, please take note of the expected delivery time.

We have done our best to ensure a quality product and we personally inspect every pack before it is shipped. In the unlikely event that you have received a faulty item or have been sent the wrong item, please make contact with us immediately via email at hono@tohupiri.co.nz (within 3 business days of receiving your order).

Please include in your email the order number, the reason for the return, and whether you prefer the item to be refunded or exchanged. We will then reply to your email with an address for you to return your goods to. We suggest using a trackable shipping service as we can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

All items must to be returned to us within 14 days of receiving your order. Once we have received the returned item/s, please allow up to 5 business days for the returned item/s to be processed. Unfortunately we are unable to accept a return and offer a refund if you've simply changed your mind and no longer want the item/s.

Once the item has been returned to us and has been accepted, your refund will be processed and applied to the original method of payment. We will then email you to notify you. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable and the original shipping fee will be excluded from your refund.
