He Pātai | FAQ
How do I place an order?
Just click on the product of your choice and add it to your cart. This will take you to your shopping cart where quantities can be changed. Then click 'check out' to fill out your credit card details to pay for your chosen items.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, your credit card details are secure at checkout.
How long will my order take to arrive?
If you're in Aotearoa/New Zealand, please allow up to 7 working days for your order to be delivered before contacting us. This doesn't apply to pre-orders. When placing a pre-order, please take note of the expected delivery time. For more information on shipping, please check the Info page.
What if my order is wrong, lost or damaged?
We have done our best to ensure a quality product and we personally inspect every pack before it is shipped. In the unlikely event that you have received a faulty item or have been sent the wrong item, please check the Info page and make contact with us immediately via email at hono@tohupiri.co.nz - we treat every enquiry differently, depending on the situation.
Do you have a pronunciation guide?
No. If you are concerned about your pronunciation we recommend Te Aka Māori Dictionary as the pronunciation sound files are of native speakers of te reo Māori. You can also check out our pronunciation highlight real on Instagram.
Are the labels safe to stick on my walls? Will they damage the paint?
Our labels are made from an ultra-removable quality material that is safe to use on most surfaces (i.e. furniture, household items, fittings, and walls). We have tested the labels thoroughly for over a year in our own home and have had no problems. We do say though that, "it's probably best to keep them away from your Nan's antiques."
Can the labels be reused?
Yes, the labels can be reused many times! We were amazed by the first sample of the material that we received - it was stuck and re-stuck to just about every surface in our house and it remained sticky! Please note: When removing the labels, please peel away from the surface slowly. If you plan to reuse the labels, don't stick them to fabric and keep the adhesive clean when not in use (we recommend that you keep and use the original backing paper).
